The role
We are looking for Junior and Senior AI Engineers to join our long-term partnership with ICA.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Sarajevo, with a planned start date in September 2026.
We are hiring for two positions: one Junior AI Engineer and one Senior AI Engineer. You will become part of a newly established team focused on building AI-powered solutions that support internal business processes across HR, IT, and Finance. Working closely with Swedish and Bosnian colleagues, you will help design, build, and integrate AI agents, copilots, and low-code solutions that improve productivity, streamline business processes, and enhance the employee experience.
Project
You will join a brand-new AI team responsible for developing enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft's AI ecosystem. The team is focused on building AI agents, copilots, integrations, and orchestration capabilities that automate and optimize internal business processes while delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
The work includes
- Designing, developing, and integrating AI agents and copilots
- Building AI-powered workflows, automations, and orchestration across enterprise systems
- Designing conversations, prompts, and agent workflows
- Working with Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
- Developing secure, compliant, and maintainable AI solutions
- Supporting testing, continuous improvements, and structured development practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and sharing knowledge across the team
- (Senior) Leading technical decisions, defining AI architecture, and mentoring junior engineers
Requirements:
Junior AI Engineer
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience building or integrating AI solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and/or Azure AI Foundry
- Basic knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, connectors)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Basic understanding of C#/.NET or a similar backend language
- Familiarity with APIs, web development concepts, Git, and version control
- Understanding of AI agent security and observability
- Ability to design conversations, flows, and prompts
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines
- Eagerness to learn both low-code and pro-code AI development
- Fluent English communication skills
Senior AI Engineer
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions
- Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Strong understanding of integration and orchestration patterns across enterprise systems, including APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices
- Professional programming experience with C#, Python, or TypeScript
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Entra ID
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI solution design patterns
- Experience designing secure, compliant, and maintainable enterprise AI solutions
- Experience guiding junior team members and acting as a technical authority for AI architecture decisions
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have:
- Azure Machine Learning / MLOps
- Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, or Synapse
- RAG patterns, vector databases, and semantic search
- DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
- React
- Power Apps (code-based) and Power BI
- Zero Trust and role-based access (RBAC)
- Multi-agent architectures and agent orchestration frameworks
- FinOps and AI cost optimization
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with multiple vendors and governance models
- Familiarity with Azure or Microsoft 365
