The role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java, PL/SQL) with 5+ years of experience. This is a full-time, on-site role in Sarajevo. You'll work within our long-term partnership with ICA, one of Scandinavia's biggest brands. We are currently looking to fill 3 positions.

Requirements:
- Seniority Level 3–4
- Strong experience with Java development
- Strong experience with PL/SQL development
- Experience working on business-critical applications and systems
- Experience with maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvements of existing solutions
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with end-to-end responsibility
- Proficiency with IntelliJ, VS Code, SQL Developer, and Postman
- Fluent English communication skills
Additional notes:
- Candidates with strong experience in either backend Java development or PL/SQL development are both considered. A candidate doesn't need to have expertise in both technologies; strong hands-on experience and current work experience in either Java or PL/SQL is sufficient.
- Only experienced senior-level candidates will be considered.
- The team is responsible for AssortmentStage, a combination of Java and PL/SQL applications used to manage and publish business-critical information related to articles, agreements, and consumer items across ICA.
- The work includes ongoing development, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvements.
- The consultants will work in a DevOps setup with Swedish colleagues and have active involvement across development, testing, and deployment.
