AI Engineer

We're hiring an AI engineer to build solutions that automate our own work and solve real problems for clients.

This isn't a pure consulting role. You'll work on internal projects that support ZenDev's operations across departments. You'll work on client projects in medtech, finance, automotive, and other industry sectors.

Location is flexible. Mostar, Sarajevo, remote, or hybrid—your choice.

What you'll actually do

Build AI solutions that work in production

• Develop AI systems that automate business processes
• Work with generative models, RAG implementations, and agent-based systems
• Build with vector and graph databases
• Integrate AI services like OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama

Internal projects

• Automate ZenDev's operations across departments
• Improve how we work internally
• Solve problems that affect our own team

Client projects

• Build AI solutions for customers in different industries
• Work in cross-functional teams with data engineers and developers
• Create end-to-end solutions alongside AI experts and DevOps

Stay current

• Experiment with new AI technology
• We encourage continuous learning

Programming and tools

• Python, Bash, Docker
• PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph

AI platforms

• OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama

MLOps and infrastructure

• MLflow, Weights & Biases, FastAPI
• Kubernetes
• Azure, AWS, GCP (depends on project)

Technical background

• Experience with Python and AI development
• Familiarity with machine learning and LLMs
• You've worked with AI services via APIs
