We're looking for a DevOps Lead engineer to architect and maintain the infrastructure backbone for our international clients.
You'll work with diverse technology stacks and lead a team that keeps everything running smoothly.
This isn't a "keep the lights on" role. You'll design systems from the ground up, automate what can be automated, and make strategic decisions that affect millions of users.
The position is flexible.
Work from our Mostar and Sarajevo offices, remotely, or hybrid—your choice.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across diverse technology stacks
- Act as the architect for DevOps systems, ensuring infrastructure meets current and future business needs
- Lead and guide the DevOps team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Develop and enhance DevOps processes, standards, and best practices across the organization
- Provide accurate estimations and technical input for infrastructure-related project planning
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline project setup, deployment, and scaling
- Ensure effective monitoring, performance, and support for live environments
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering and system architecture design
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Broad knowledge of various infrastructure tools and technologies - not limited to a single stack
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Strong focus on automation, reliability, and scalability
- Experience in cross-department collaboration to ensure alignment between development, operations, and project management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments
