Finance Officer
Sarajevo or Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
We're looking for a finance professional who turns numbers into business decisions.
You'll work with a global high-tech engineering group. They build advanced equipment, tools, and digital solutions used worldwide.
This isn't bookkeeping. You'll own financial reporting and turn complex data into actionable insights. IFRS compliance, SAP dashboards, Power BI reporting. Enterprise-level finance work with real impact.
What you'll actually do
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and group policies
- Own monthly closing, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Analyze financial performance and variances to support management decisions
- Develop and improve financial reports and dashboards in SAP and Power BI
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, audits, and financial governance standards

Skills we're looking for
- Strong accounting background with in-depth IFRS knowledge
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced experience with SAP (FI/CO) and Power BI
- Ability to handle, structure, and analyze large, complex datasets
- Turn data into meaningful financial insights
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Background and qualifications
- University degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Several years in finance, business analytics, or controlling roles
- Experience in international or matrix organizations is a strong advantage
Non-technical skills
- Confident communicator who can challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders
- You take ownership without being asked
- Strong English skills
