About Zendev 

We're a software development company with nearly 90 people across Gothenburg, Mostar, and Sarajevo. 

We care as much about building great teams as we do about building great software. 

We're looking for someone to help us get better at developing our people and strengthening our culture.


What you’ll do 

You'll be our first dedicated people and culture manager. 

Your job is to make sure our people grow in their careers, enjoy their work, and feel connected to what we're building together.

You'll work closely with our management team to build our career development framework and processes from the ground up. 

This means being comfortable both leading the strategy and doing the hands-on work.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in psychology or people development who likes working with people.

Your focus areas

Help people grow

  • Build a framework for career development together with the management

  • Have real conversations with people about where they want to go

  • Figure out what learning and development we should invest in

  • Work with leadership on all people-related decisions

Keep people happy and healthy

  • Talk to people regularly to understand how they're doing

  • Create programs that help people handle work and life challenges

Build culture

  • Organize events that bring people together

  • Make sure communication flows both ways

  • Live our values and help others do the same

Make us better

  • Catch things early before they impact the work

  • Give leadership a clear picture of how our company is doing

  • Proactively recommend changes that will help us grow

Who we're looking for

  • 5+ years in HR, organizational psychology, or similar

  • You've built people development programs before

  • Experience with international or remote teams is a plus

  • You care about people, but you're also organized

  • You take ownership and follow through

  • People trust you and open up to you

  • You listen well and ask good questions

Location

Sarajevo, with regular trips to Mostar (a few times per month) and quarterly visits to Gothenburg.
